Dietetics and Nutritional Services

The Dietetics and Nutrition Services Program at ONE Health Ohio helps patients to manage medical conditions such as obesity, Diabetes and/or high cholesterol through the use of nutrition assessment, intervention and education, as well as lifestyle change and behavior modification. Licensed and Registered Dietitians work alongside the ONE Health Ohio clinical care team to assess the patient’s medical history so an individualized plan can be developed, centered around the patient’s history and overall healthcare goals. The Dietitian will review the plan with the patient, work alongside them to monitor progress and make changes as needed.

Once the Dietitian receives a referral from the patient’s Primary Care Clinician, the patient will be scheduled for a 30-minute initial consultation. 15-minute follow-up visits will be scheduled on a regular basis to discuss and evaluate progress towards overall goals.
