Recovery

We are passionately committed to providing evidence-based medication assisted treatment with an individualized focus on each patient that is  proven to  break the cycle of relapse and restore our patients to health and happiness. We employ a multidisciplinary team approach;  every patient works with his or her own clinician, nurse, counselor and other specialists as needed, allowing us to treat the physical, psychological, and emotional components of addiction.

The abuse of substances is something with which countless people struggle. The presence of an addiction to alcohol and/or drugs can quickly consume all aspects of the user’s life, negatively impacting both the individual as well as those around him or her.

Opioids are one type of drug which often causes devastation in the lives of those who become trapped in the grip of its addictive properties. Heroin, morphine, and prescription painkillers are all various types of opioid substances that, when abused, produce mind and mood-altering effects by depressing the central nervous system. The result of this central nervous system depression is the onset of feelings of relaxation and euphoria, both of which become desirable to users, making them more susceptible to continue their use of these substances. Continued use can quickly turn into physical dependence and then addiction, making it extremely difficult for individuals to put an end to their use of opioids.

At ONE Health Ohio’s RISE Recovery we recognize how difficult it can be to face each day plagued by the desire and compulsion to use opioids. We have, therefore, created specialized, effective programming that is designed to meet the needs of individuals who are suffering from this form of chemical dependency.

Inspiration

Each person who chooses to heal at RISE Recovery can expect to be valued as a unique individual who is worthy of the best care available. We respect the strengths and experiences of each patient, we are honored that they have chosen our program to begin, or continue, their recovery, and we are committed to providing all care in an atmosphere with utmost dignity and respect. Sometimes the most inspiring people in the world seem to be completely unnoticed. What inspires us are the people who do something to better their own small corner of the world. Headlines and accolades are not needed, just their knowledge that they stepped up to make things better. You inspire all of us by RISEing to the occasion as you work toward healing.

RISE Recovery strives to provide the highest quality of care available. Our goal is to restore each individual to a healthier, happier, more productive life, free from destructive behaviors and dependence on addictive chemicals. With integrity as our moral compass, we hold ourselves accountable to all stakeholders, be it the patient, family members or the community in which we serve.

Support

Learning that a friend or loved one has developed an addiction to opioid brings about much emotional turmoil. It is often frustrating to watch a loved one struggle with the inability to put an end to the use of these substances. It is often extremely concerning to ponder the future of one trapped in the cycle of addiction. While no one can force a loved one to stop using drugs, there are some things that can be done to encourage them to seek and receive the treatment needed to overcome addiction. Consider the following:

  • Take the time to become educated regarding the signs of opioid abuse. This will help to gauge the level of care that would be most appropriate for helping the loved one based on the severity of his or her use.
  • Sit down with your loved one and be open and honest regarding your concerns about his or her use of opioids. Encourage other people in your loved one’s life to be a part of the conversation and express their concerns as well.
  • Research the available treatment options with your loved one. Offer to go with him or her to appointments.
  • Be an active, vocal, and encouraging part of your loved one’s treatment process. The more involved you are, the more successful your loved one is likely to be.
  • Remain a beacon of unconditional love, hope and support. Remember that the road to rehab & recovery can be a long one.

Anyone who has walked through the demanding process of recovery will tell you that a healthy, safe community is essential to proper healing and long-term success. This should be a natural part of the local churches’ DNA and other faith-based groups to welcome those needing to experience the love of God.

What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. It is willing to do what is best for others, even if they do not like or accept it. Love always hopes.

Empowerment

In addition to helping an individual change destructive patterns, we take treatment to the next level and help our clients explore their strengths and passions. With a spirit of empowerment, one has the ability to re-author their life’s story.

“I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me”  –Philippians 4:13

The integration of mind, body and spirit makes a whole, healthy individual. ONE  Health Ohio’s RISE Recovery helps patrons to heal in all areas of their lives, including: physical health, mental health, employment, relationships, finances, housing and social support systems. Rather than using drugs to self-soothe and avoid living life, we suggest holistic alternatives such as yoga, mindfulness and meditation techniques, and faith-based support groups to help one cope with stress and drug cravings during, as well as, after treatment.

We believe that treatment need not be punitive or humiliating, rather we desire it to be nurturing and healing. In a safe and open environment, we encourage our visitors to share their experiences, find truth and travel on the road to recovery.
