How to Schedule a Telehealth

To schedule a telehealth appointment, contact ONE Health Ohio at 877-722-3303 or speak with an in-office team member. They will help determine if your appointment and insurance type qualify for telehealth. If eligible, you will receive a link via text to download the WebEx Meeting Application. Please download the app before your appointment. A reminder text will be sent prior to your appointment.

Please note that, per State of Ohio requirements, all telehealth appointments must be conducted via video.

Preparing for Your Telehealth Appointment

To ensure a smooth and effective telehealth appointment, please have the following ready:

  • Smartphone with Front Camera: For clear video communication.
  • Fully Charged Device or Access to Power: To avoid interruptions.
  • Internet Connection: A stable connection for seamless interaction.
  • Cell Phone Number: Capable of receiving texts for appointment links and reminders.
  • Well-Lit Space: So your doctor or nurse can see you clearly.
  • Quiet Environment: To minimize distractions and ensure privacy.
  • Headphones: For clear audio and to maintain confidentiality.

How to Join a Virtual Appointment from Your Mobile Phone or Tablet

1. Schedule Your Telehealth Visit: After scheduling, you’ll receive a text with a link to download the WebEx Meeting Application. Please download it before your appointment.

2. On the Day of Your Appointment: When it’s time to join, you’ll receive an invitation link via text.

3. Join the Meeting:

  • Click the link.
  • Enter your full name and email address.
  • Select “Join as guest.”

4. Enable Audio and Video:

  • Ensure the microphone and video camera icons are active (not red) before clicking the green “Join” button.

5. Need Help?: You can message the clinical staff in the chat window if you need assistance with audio or video.

We want you to have the information you need to understand and manage your care. When you log in to your ONE Health Ohio Patient Portal account, you can access your health information and connect with your care team anytime, anywhere.

Can’t locate the email? No problem. Simply submit a request to portal@onehealthohio.org, and include your full name and date of birth in the message. We’ll assist you promptly.
