ONE Health Ohio and RISE Recovery are proud to announce that on September 28th, Dr. David Sansoterra was awarded The 2023 Theodore E. Wymyslo, OPCWI Preceptor of the Year Award! Dr. Sansoterra (amongst 7 other finalists) was acknowledged for his dedication and precision while training the next generation of healthcare providers!

This award recognizes a preceptor who exemplifies clinical reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, interpersonal skills and demonstrated student and patient satisfaction.

Thank you to the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers and the National Association of Community Health Centers for hosting this wonderful event. A SPECIAL thank you to Dr. Wymyslo and his leadership for developing the OPCWI program!

Because of doctors like Dr. Sansoterra, the quality of Ohio’s healthcare is in good hands!
